We had an absolutely fabulous time last Saturday celebrating Independent Bookstore Day.  We are so glad that the Canadian Independent Booksellers Association took on the challenge of organizing the event during a pandemic! Father in law, John Hoblyn made a wonderful, all be it loud, prize wheel for us.  It did startle a few people but it gave us the energy of a county fair. We would especially like to thank the authors that took on the challenge of "Writing in Our Window:"  Maurice J. O. Crossfield, Meghan Redmile, Peter White, Roger de la Mare, Sheryl Taylor and Peter Turner. What a hoot and better than we could ever have imagined. It was something between an art installation and Zoo! But we couldn't have done without son Ben McAuley who recorded the day with super duper photo's and posts (see below)! And finally our community of readers who have supported us through thick and thin.
