Story contest for kids

It is that time of year again. Time to start planning for the Brome Bright Lights short story contest!

Our goal is to foster a love of stories, writing and creativity. We were thrilled to receive 185 entries last year and we hope to exceed that this year.

The contest is open to elementary-level children (grades 1 – 6) in the Brome-Missisquoi area.  The deadline for submissions is Friday, April 11th.  Stories must be less than 800 words. They must be works of the student's imagination and will be judged on originality, good storytelling, vocabulary, and grammar.
